About

This site is an independent guide to the Veto app — the free, open-source VirusTotal client for Android made by Universe Lab.

We put this guide together because Veto is genuinely useful and not many people know about it. It answers the simple, practical questions: what the app does, how to set it up, what the free limits are, and how it compares to just using the VirusTotal website.

Everything here is written in plain language. No jargon, no filler.

Not Affiliated

This is an unofficial fan-made guide. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Universe Lab, the Veto developers, or VirusTotal. Veto's source code is published under the GPL-3.0 license on GitHub, and the app is free on Google Play, F-Droid, and GitHub releases.

If you want the app itself, head to the download page. If you're just getting started, the what-is-Veto guide is the best first read.
